How to do final acceptance of vector draft? From screen to prototype
First check the text, outline, size and color, and then confirm the sample according to the actual usage environment. Being able to open the file only means that the format is readable, but it does not prove that the brand, typesetting and production effects have passed acceptance.
Determine the problem and applicable conditions first
The order of checks should start from unacceptable content errors, such as typos, missing edges, and accidental deletions, to thin lines, transparency, and chromatic aberrations. The sample and document version must correspond, otherwise an approved picture cannot prove that subsequent revisions can still be used directly.
Process and check in order
- Use the checklist to check text, proportions, holes, and background one by one.
- Check the real size in the target software and do necessary proofing.
- Record the approved version and subsequent modification scope before delivering it to production.
Check the finished result
Any modification that changes font size, line width, color or outline should result in a re-examination of the affected items. Keep the original conversion results, final drafts and approval samples, and do not regard the automatic conversion success status as the design and production acceptance conclusion.
SVG format basis and reference materials
SVG can contain both vector shapes, images, and text. Therefore, a file name ending in .svg does not alone prove that the original image has been converted to an editable path.W3C SVG 2 Specification: SVG Graphics Objectdescribes these object types.
