The web logo looks too small: first check the SVG’s built-in white space
If the image element fills up the container but the logo still appears small, it may be that the SVG canvas contains a lot of white space. Check the body bounds and viewBox before deciding to crop the canvas or resize the page.
Determine the problem and applicable conditions first
Increasing the CSS width will also enlarge the white space, which may make the navigation height unbalanced. The safe space specified by the brand cannot be deleted at will; it is necessary to distinguish between the headroom required to be retained by the design and the empty drawing board mistakenly included during export.
Process and check in order
- Open the file to view the proportion of the subject in the entire canvas.
- Confirm the minimum safe white space with the designer and organize the copy canvas.
- Test alignment and click areas in navigation desktop and mobile styles.
Check the finished result
Do not stretch the logo or obscure the pattern with unknown cuts. Navigation visual size and link click area can be set separately. After modification, high-density screens, small windows and dark backgrounds should be checked.
SVG format basis and reference materials
SVG can contain both vector shapes, images, and text. Therefore, a file name ending in .svg does not alone prove that the original image has been converted to an editable path.W3C SVG 2 Specification: SVG Graphics Objectdescribes these object types.
