There are white gaps between adjacent color blocks: real gaps or rendered thin lines
First change the zoom ratio and background to see if the white seam changes with the display. Adjacent paths may appear thin lines during screen anti-aliasing, or there may be real gaps. The path boundaries should be checked before processing instead of bolding all graphics directly.
Determine the problem and applicable conditions first
Different browsers and software may render seams differently. If it only appears at certain zooms, you usually need to further confirm whether it is a display artifact; if you can see the background color running through in various views, you may need to repair the object boundaries.
Process and check in order
- Observe the same seam with two backgrounds and multiple zooms.
- Zoom in to check the adjacent path coordinates in the vector editing software.
- If there is a gap, adjust the copy boundary and review it in the target environment after exporting.
Check the finished result
Do not expand all paths uniformly, as this may shrink the inner hole of the text or change the pattern. When used for color separation printing, whether trapping or overlapping is required should be determined by the manufacturer. Web page artifact repair cannot be directly applied to pre-press.
SVG format basis and reference materials
SVG can contain both vector shapes, images, and text. Therefore, a file name ending in .svg does not alone prove that the original image has been converted to an editable path.W3C SVG 2 Specification: SVG Graphics Objectdescribes these object types.
