Using vector conversion for the first time: from uploading to saving files
Prepare a PNG, JPG or WebP with clear edges, log in and confirm that your membership is valid, then upload and check the original image and results, and finally save the file to your device. It is recommended to choose a simple icon for first time use.
Determine the problem and applicable conditions first
The studio only allows one conversion task in progress. Before uploading, make sure the image is less than or equal to 10 MB and that the main body has not been cropped. Being a valid member does not mean that the blurred original image will be able to restore accurate details, and the conversion results still need to be checked manually.
Process and check in order
- Enter the image to vector studio and confirm your account and membership status.
- Upload pictures, wait for queuing and conversion to complete, do not click upload repeatedly.
- Move the comparison slider to check the outline and download the vector image; enter editing when modifications are needed.
Check the finished result
Re-open the downloaded SVG in the browser and confirm that the file can be read. The edited version needs to be exported separately from the editor, and the download from the task page will still be the original result. Don’t just save web page screenshots as vector delivery files.
SVG format basis and reference materials
SVG can contain both vector shapes, images, and text. Therefore, a file name ending in .svg does not alone prove that the original image has been converted to an editable path.W3C SVG 2 Specification: SVG Graphics Objectdescribes these object types.
