How to compare slider check results using original image and SVG

Written and maintained by:Sweet Tomato E-commerce Technology Co., Ltd. Updated

After the conversion is completed, move the preview slider to view the original image and SVG respectively. Check the subject in overall view first, then zoom in on small letters, sharp corners, and cutouts; don’t judge the result as accurate just because the outline is smoother.

Determine the problem and applicable conditions first

Both sides display different representations of the same pattern. Tracing can turn textures into patches of color, glue thin text together, or lose light lines. Checks should focus on practical use: for web icons focus on readability at small sizes, for prints focus on lines and color separation.

Process and check in order

  1. Move the slider to both ends to see the original image and the full result.
  2. Switch between 50%, 100%, 150% or 200% to inspect outlines and details.
  3. Record the defect location and decide to edit and clean, re-prepare the material or keep the bitmap.

Check the finished result

Studio scaling only changes the display size and does not modify the export file size. After downloading, open it again in the target software for verification; the screen anti-aliasing effect is different from the actual printing effect, and the actual size still needs to be accepted before delivery.

SVG format basis and reference materials

SVG can contain both vector shapes, images, and text. Therefore, a file name ending in .svg does not alone prove that the original image has been converted to an editable path.W3C SVG 2 Specification: SVG Graphics Objectdescribes these object types.

The above information is used to describe the file format. The upload restrictions, membership requirements, results saving and editing capabilities of this site are subject to the page description and actual functions.
