The extension prompts to authorize the image domain name: Why is it different from the current website?

Written and maintained by:Sweet Tomato E-commerce Technology Co., Ltd. Updated

Website pages and image files may come from different domain names, for example, images are hosted on an independent CDN. The extension reads the image source domain name as needed, so the domain name in the authorization prompt may be different from the current address bar.

Determine the problem and applicable conditions first

Only the actively selected pictures are read. There is no need to open all websites in order to collect a picture. When authorization fails, the resource is protected by login, or the link is invalid, you may not be able to obtain images if you authorize the same domain name repeatedly.

Process and check in order

  1. Check the source of the image prompted in the sidebar to confirm that it belongs to the currently selected material.
  2. Grant permission only to the domain name that needs to be read, and then try to collect it.
  3. If still fails use a legally downloaded local image, or abandon the inaccessible source.

Check the finished result

Deauthorize to adjust site access scope in Chrome extension management. Authorization does not mean obtaining a license for commercial use of the image, nor does it guarantee that anti-hotlinking or private access restrictions can be bypassed; please abide by the terms of use of the source website.
