How to recover accidentally deleted graphics? The order of use of undo and backup
Undo the deletion immediately after discovering it was deleted by mistake, and do not continue to superimpose other operations. The undo record belongs to the current editing session; after closing the page, it should rely on the previously exported version to restore it and cannot be regarded as a permanent version history.
Determine the problem and applicable conditions first
Deleting and removing all strokes by color may affect many objects at the same time. Exporting a copy before batch operations and observing key details immediately after the operation will be more reliable than filling it out one by one afterwards. The original mission file can be used as an unedited starting point.
Process and check in order
- To stop continuing, click Undo at the top of the editor.
- Check to see if the affected area has recovered before deciding to redo it or use another method.
- Export versioned files before and after larger cleanup steps.
Check the finished result
If the editor has been closed, reopen the previously saved file or original results; unexported editing status cannot be guaranteed to be retrieved. Do not cover the original original, especially if the logo design involves small fonts, hollowing out, and bulk color deletion.
SVG format basis and reference materials
SVG can contain both vector shapes, images, and text. Therefore, a file name ending in .svg does not alone prove that the original image has been converted to an editable path.W3C SVG 2 Specification: SVG Graphics Objectdescribes these object types.
