How to organize source and authorization records before material vectorization
Converting an image to SVG does not change the material's copyright or license scope. Record the author, source link, download date and licensing requirements before conversion, especially distinguishing between personal use, commercial use, redistribution and trademark use.
Determine the problem and applicable conditions first
Gallery display, paid download and free use do not mean ownership. The material may also involve fonts, portraits and brand logos; the licensing conditions should be subject to the specific instructions of the source and cannot be judged based on just a free label.
Process and check in order
- Save the original link to the material and the license description at that time.
- Check permitted uses and whether attribution is required, and retain proof of purchase.
- Indicate the source of the original material and the license boundary when delivering it to the customer, and confirm with the rights holder if you have any questions.
Check the finished result
Do not regard watermark removal, color change or tracing as the basis for re-original creation. Important commercial projects should be confirmed by the person responsible for authorization; the format conversion capability of this site does not itself constitute a license to use any material.
SVG format basis and reference materials
SVG can contain both vector shapes, images, and text. Therefore, a file name ending in .svg does not alone prove that the original image has been converted to an editable path.W3C SVG 2 Specification: SVG Graphics Objectdescribes these object types.
